Lughaidh et al.

The discussion on IT's was deleted when I was called a racist. For my response please visit the archives. I may be many things but I am NOT a racist and will not tolerate being called one.

Below are a few quotes from Marion Robert Morrison...one of the greatest Irish Americans of my time. I find them oddly apropos at this time.

"I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, and I won't be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them."

"I've always followed my father's advice: he told me, first to always keep
my word and, second, to never insult anybody unintentionally.
If I insult you, you can be goddamn sure I intend to. And,
third, he told me not to go around looking for trouble."

"Mister, I ain't got a bigoted bone in my body. If you don't drop that ax, I'll blast you to hell as quick as I would a white man."

Can any body guess Marion's real name?

Le meas mo chairde,

James

I thought Marion Robert Morrison was the real name for the Duke, whose stage name was John Wayne?

Speaking of John Wayne, some are talking of dubbing "The Quiet "Man" into Irish. Féach ar
