Ah, I wish I knew about this when I went to Ireland in September, although it does appear to be aimed at younger folk.

I tried getting in contact with the kayak club at the university in Gaillimh, but I must've scared 'em off. They were worried about insurance/liability issues--and who was this foreigner on their message board?!

If anyone knows of a place in Ireland that rents kayaks (sea kayaks or whitewater kayaks), I'd love to know about it for my next trip.
