Feiceann tú beagan glas. Tá cuma mílítheach (pale) ort. Tá cuma tinn (ill) ort? (You look green I have never heard in Irish!).
An bhfuil Ar mhaith leat uisce? Aran?

Go raibh maith agat! Sometimes I have the hardest time with idioms...so instead of "you look green"...in irish we say "a pale look is on you"...but I have a question about "tá cuma tinn ort?"...shouldn't the "tá" be "an bhfuil" or something? |

Cáit, I dislike word for word translations. Also "Feiceann tú" is "you see" Probably you meant "Féachann tú" - but that means you look (at something) rather than "you appear" Cuma is appearance (in this case) The question mark is a typo on my part - it ought to have been "tá cuma tinn ort." If it were a question then it would have been "An bhfuil cuma tinn ort?" - but one would likely ask "An bhfuil tú tinn?" |

Although, now that I think of it, you could say "Tá tú ag féachaint go holc" |
