I’m trying to get a comprehensive list of the simple prepositions used in Irish. These are the list that I have found so far, having consulted numerous sources. If anyone knows of any others that are not mentioned here, I would be much obliged if you would post them, along with the case of noun that follows it and the seimhiú / urú rules that are connected with it. Dative Ag, ar, as, de, do, faoi, chuig, I, le, ó, roimh, thar, trí, um, ionsar, go, fara, dar Common gan, go dtí, idir, seachas, ná, murach, mar, amhail, ach Genitive fearacht, timpeall, chun, dála, trasna, cois, tigh, fan |
