Cead Mille Failte,
I am pretty sure that this means a hundred thousand welcomes. And I think it is pronounced in English phonetics as "Keed Millae Felsh."
I do want to be sure, because it is a phrase that is used so much; it would be an embarrassment to say it wrong or not to even know what it means.

Slaite, Shannon

Dia duit Shannon,

pronounce céad to rhyme with spade
pronounce míle me + let without the "t"
Fáilte is pronounced like fa as in fall il as in ill and che as ch (ch as in chat) e as in let

Altogether Céad Míle Fáilte
if you say
Kaid meele fawilche
It should sound near enough.
The meaning is correct.
