Hi,
I'm looking for the Irish words for "mother" and "grandmother". Would
you please email me with these translations? Also, can you provide an
online source that might have an English/Irish dictionary? Thank you
very much.

Máthair is the word for mother; seanmháthair is grandmother (máthair mhór is also said, especially in the North). Grandma or granny is maimeo.

For a dictionary try the Irish Bookshop in New York. The URL is www.irishbooks.com (tel: 212-274-1923.)
