I have an old Guinness laminated-type advert from Dun na nGall on my office wall. It has lenited consonants. My son the other day asked if the dots above the c (deoc) and the m (fuinneam) were fadas and I had no idea what to say. Are/were they called fadas? |

Aonghus a chara,Buíochas. Would you know why I am having trouble opening up the Seimhiu discussion? All I am getting is a blank page. Iam not having any problems with any others. |

Aw. The dawning of passion. Next you might explain to him how those seimhiú affect the pronunciation of the consonants - and so begins a long and beautiful jouney into the language. ;) -Maidhc. |

Sorry, no idea. Unless some of the strange characters copied inot it are tripping up your browser? But I have had no problems with it with either IE or Mozilla. quote:Would you know why I am having trouble opening up the Seimhiu discussion? |
