Cad is brí do "domhandachas"?

Seems like 'globalisation' or something but it doesn't sound right - domhandú is globalisation

Context?

It may mean "worldliness" as opposed to spirituality.

domhanda [aidiacht den tríú díochlaonadh]
a bhaineann leis an domhan, ar fud an domhain.

But better usage for worldliness in that sense would be "saolta"

saoltacht [ainmfhocal baininscneach den tríú díochlaonadh]
caitheamh i ndiaidh cúrsaí saolta, imní chun an tsaoil; saibhreas saolta.

saolta [aidiacht den tríú díochlaonadh]
a bhaineann le cúrsaí an tsaoil seo; imníoch faoin saol seo; galánta; (le béim ar fhocal) (náire, gráin, shaolta).

Dineen gives domhanda as mundane, relating to the world. But it would be easier to define if the word was given in context.

Tá brón orm, a Aonghuis. Seo é:

"Tá siadsan atá ag seasamh in aghaidh domhandachais agus é faoi threoir ag lucht mór gnó agus an rachmais ag iarraidh go n-osclófaí na teoraineacha."

Is as alt faoi chúrsaí Oileáin Mhanainn é seo. Cheap mé go raibh "globalization" i gceist freisin.

Sa gcomhthéacs déarfainn gurbh ea. Ach an ideolaíocht seachas an gníomh, má thuigeann tú mé.
