"cardinal"

Pardon the ignorance, but the only "cardinals" I know of are those fellas with the Pope... to whom do you refer?

I am referring to the Cardinal of Philadelphia...to whom a letter-writing campaign has been directed in an effort to save the facility where we have our Jamison Weekends

I sent an email and a letter, hope it helps. It would be a shame to lose Jamison. Where would we go?

received today by me

------------
Auxiliary Bishop
Archdiocese of Philadelphia

Dear Mr. V-------,
His Eminence has received your correspondence with regard to Camp Neumann. As the Bishop overseeing the Secretariat for Catholic Education, I am looking into the decision to close the Camp.
As you know, there are many issues involved in sponsoring a Camp of this nature not the least of which is the financial ability of the Archdiocese to support such a program. The condition of the building that are used to house the attendees is also a factor.
Please know that your support for the Camp is appreciated.

Sincerely,
[signed]
Most Reverend Joseph P. McFadden
Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia

222 North Seventeenth Street • Philadelphia, PA 19103-1299

I got the same thing. It doesn't sound too promising.
