A good resource for those looking pronunciation help is the "Ceann Dubhrann" series of interviews on the BBC's Irish Language web pages.

Where you can read the text and hear it spoken by native speakers from Rann na Feirste in Donegal.

Wow! Go raibh maith agat! What are the interviews about, generally? I just found out that there's a glossary at the bottom....that's a VERY good thing! I think I'll give it a try. Thanks again Cormac!

i should have posted this link to the 6th interview, then you get links to the previous 5 at the bottom of the page.

I just listened to the 4th one it it was about the future of the irish language as far as i could make out... as the interviewee says near the end "Beidh Gaeilge ann ach beidh sí truaillithe thar mar a bhí sí nuair a bhí mise ag éirí aníos." there will be irish, but it will be corrupted? compared to how it was when i was growing up.

A chairde,
I've found the Irish language resources on the BBCNI site to be consistently of a very high quality - with a clearly Ulster (Donegal) focus in the language used, for obvious reasons.
Beir bua agus beannacht!
