Cad iad na hordú atá in easnamh Im thinking its , 'whatever problems you have ' or ' whatever you lack ' and also Do bhainis iarraigh asad agus tá an cheart agat - níl tada ann. I can make most of the words out but it is context and meaning I have difficulty with. thanks in advance |

There seem to be a number of spelling mistakes in the two sentences you quote. "Cad iad na hordúuithe atá in easnamh" would be "Which commands (or orders) are missing?" Do bhainis iarraighcht asad agus tá an cheart agat - níl tada ann. would mean "I tried it, and you're right, there is nothing there" |

Aonghus , thanks for taking the time , Strange that there are spelling 'mistakes' as this is from a native speaker, could it be dialect related ? While I have you here could you explain the Do bhainis part as I couldnt find it in Foclair Beag , my thanks |

Do bhainis is a dialect form of "do bhain mé" And I'm a native speaker. But that doesn't make me immune from typos. |
