I have just started a Handmade Wedding Stationery business and was wondering where I might find the text for Marriage Vows in Irish.

I would be very greatful for any assistance.

Rachel

you will find the whole Catholic ceremony of marriage here: http://homepage.eircom.net/~churchmusicireland/an_taifreann.htm

The bit you want (I think) is

Paul: Is toil. Glacaim leat mar bhean chéile agus bronnaim mé féín ort mar fhear chéile ~
Orla: Glacaim leat mar fhear chéíle agus bronnaim mé féin ort mar bhean chéíle ~
ag breith greim láimhe ar a chéile dóibh deir siad:
~ chun grá a thabhairt dá chéile go dílis,
más fearr sinn, más measa,
más saibhir, más bocht,
más tinn, nó más slán,
go scara an bás sinn (nó: gach lá dár saol)

There are different forms possible
