I am looking for authentic Irish fonts for my computer. I had downloaded some but when my machine crashed and I had to reformat, I lost them. I don't even remember the name of the one that I liked the most. Anyway, can anyone help me find authentic Irish fonts (preferably free)? Thanks!

Thanks, Diarmuid.

Actually, I did do a google search and was not satisfied with what I found, as I only found "Irish looking" and "Celtic looking" fonts, but nothing that I could use for typing correspondance in actual Irish script, especially the old script. Maybe I'm too picky, but if I could find what I had, I'd be the happiest woman on Earth. (I searched looking for gaeilge fonts, irish fonts, celtic fonts, and gaelic fonts.)

If anyone knows the site that has the true Irish fonts, please let me know? It was a no frills site offering several TTF files full of different Irish fonts, if I remember correctly the site was somehow related to a University somewhere.

Caoimhín--

I checked those out, I like those better than the link I had. Easier to find exactly what I was looking for!

God Bless You!!!
