Has anyone tried using this[litrioct.com] site? I am wondering if it is trustworthy given the total lack of information on the site about the company/owner and its policies and the EXTREMELY suspicious security certificate warning given in a dialog created by java instead of Mozilla. Also, can they take payments from a debit card(Check+ Card)? Many vendors claim not to accept debit cards but in my experience working in retail they are processed via the Visa network exactly the same as a credit card and are successfully debitted without any difference in process. It seems that nearly any books related to Gaeilge, even those that should be more common, aren't carried by any easy to find vendor(such as Amazon.com).

If you'll find one trustworthy company on the Internet, it is litriocht.com! :-)

I've used many times and they have always been very fast and also very nice. I have visited the company in Corca Dhuibhne and also visited its owner in Múscraí. About the payment, I suggest you mail them and ask. You'll be sure to get a quick answer!

Thanks for your reply Jonas!
I suppose there may be(perhaps moreso in Ireland) some debit cards that are processed by a bank's own network but I do know that cards like mine are processed by Visa appearing like credit cards to vendors so I tried to place the order with it and it was successfully proccessed(they actually lowered the shipping price before dispatch, something Amazon.com doesn't do).

I have been purchasing Irish Language Materials from Litriocht.com on a monthly basis for several years and their service is excellent and very prompt.
