Is Reacht and Racht pronounced the same way or is one broad and one slender???

Reacht pronounced raCHt

ch like ch at the end of Loch

Hi and welcome!

Some speakers of Irish would pronounce the "r" broad in both those words; some dialects don't distinguish between a broad and a slender r at the beginning of the words - others do.

There would be a slight difference between reacht and racht in many dialects, though. A very small difference but still noticable.
