I'm looking to better understand the differences between the Ulster dialect and others that may exist for the use of "what." In particular, I'd like to know what the major differences are in the position of "cad" and "a ta" when speaking or writing in the Ulster dialect. I can't put my finger on it, but there seems to be that in the Ulster dialect "cad" and "a ta" appear at the front of the sentence in a variety of instances, or am I just imagining this?
