the new Daltaí board has arrived. It has many features the last version did not, including the ability to register for an account, which brings with it many small conveniences. However, you need not register to post.

Registration is verified via email i.e. after filling out the registration form and supplying a valid email address, an email will be sent to you with a link to complete the process.

We've been testing this for sometime now and have run into two problems. First, some spam filters (such as Yahoo's) will filter out our verification email. If you don't receive the expected email, this is likely the reason why. Second, Mac OS X users won't be able to complete the registration process due to character encoding vagaries in OS X and/or its popular email clients, Entourage and Mail (clicking on the emailed registration link will produce an error). OS X users can still register, however, by accessing their email via a Web interface and clicking on the link that way.
