Hi folks:

I need some help. I'm looking for a non-traditional Irish name for a baby girl. I'd
like to find the Irish word for 'honor,' or 'creative.' Heck, I'd be happy for a few
translations of virtues (courage, etc.) that I might use as a name. Can anyone
help? Thanks!

Susan -

Lately I've heard about two non-traditional names that people have used. Supposedly Mary Courtney Kennedy named her daughter Saoirse Roisin (Freedom Rose). Friends of mine named their daughter Alannah, which comes (I'm pretty sure) from a leannán (sweetheart).
