the forums will be offline on Friday evening beginning 9:00 PM EDST (2:00 AM UTC) and should be back up by Saturday 9:00 AM EDST (2:00 PM UTC).

During the downtime I'll be attempting to clean things up a bit, especially the Archive, in prepartion for upgrading the board. The upgrade process is processor intensive and RAM hungry and thus far has choked on converting the Archive, which is well over 1 MB in size - more than manageable for a dedicated server, but, alas, we don't have that luxury.
