No matter what your level of Irish, the Rockland County Feis includes an Irish Language Competition for all levels - from beginner to daoine líofa - at its annual Feis.
Have a chat, recite a poem, sing a song - abair cúpla focal!! It would be wonderful if those of us who love the Irish Language could show our support by stopping by the Feis. We also thank the Rockland County Feis Committee for its continued promotion of an Ghaeilge at its annual feis. So if you're in the NY area this Sunday, stop by the feis and enter the competition at whatever level you're comfortable with. Walk around the beautiful grounds, watch the dancers, listen to the pipers - and then stop by the Daltaí na Gaeilge table and chat with us for a while!! Where: Anthony Wayne State Park When: Sunday, July 18th, 8am - 4pm Directions: Palisades Interstate Parkway to exit 17; Park is right there at exit, only 40 miles north of New York City. Feicfidh muid ag an bhfeis sibh!! |
