I am trying to find how to spell the English word Unique ( with the U capitalized ) in Irish.

Hilda, A Chara,

I believe the more literal translation of unique would be "Uathúil" (pronounced weh hool) applying American English phonics. There is another, "sainiúil." That would suggest special or distinctive. As to capitalizing the word, the Irish U is the same as the English.

Slán tamall,
Pádraig
