Friday, April 23rd. 7:30pm. The Maine Irish Heritage
Center will present an "Evening of Sean-Nos" (old
style) singing and poetry in the Irish Language.

Joe Ridge, award winning Sean-Nos singer from
Connemara, Ireland will perform. Also, published poet
and storyteller, Jackie McDonagh will read from his
work.

Both artists are native Irish speakers. Don't speak
Irish??? Not to worry, translation will accompany the
evening. Live music and refreshments as well.

Addmission $5.00. Please use our new State Street
entrance.

The Maine Irish Heritage Center is in the former St. Dominic's Catholic church on the corner of Gray and State street.

Directions: from Interstate 95 take Exit 6A to Portland 295 then From 295 take Exit 6A again (Forest Ave South). Stay in Right lane through the yield sign continue through the park & up the hill at the 5th stop light turn Right on to Danforth St. Parking lot is your 1st Right.
