I am teaching conversational Irish using O'Se book "Teach Yourself Irish." I noted that "cad as tú" had been changed to "cad as duit" in the updated version (2001) Is this a regional dialect? I learned Munster Irish at school (supposedly)

Go raibh maith agat

Deirimse:

Is as Éirinn dom

Ach tá aithne agam ar chúpla daoine a deir:

Is as Éirinn mé

Tá rogha agat.

An fíorGhaeilge é seo a leanas:

"An duine a bheidh anseo níos déanaí"

nó, an mór

"An duine a bheas anseo níos déanaí"

a rá?

Níor múineadh faic na fríde dom ar scoil faoi "bheas", ach nuair a fhéachaim ar An bhFoclóir Beag, feicim go ndeir sé:

Coibhneasta: bheas

Mar sin, an bhfuil na habairtí seo a leanas i gceart?:

An duine a bheas anseo amárach
An duine go mbeidh mé ag fanacht leis
