Jessica Ni Chonchubhair: You probably shouldn't sign more than once. They are interested in numbers of people not signatures. If a lot of signatures on a petition are the same then it may not be taken seriously. Has anyone looked at some signatures on this petition? I hope that they are filtered before it is actually submitted. Some of the comments are insults: " Sean Dolan - yeehar...... lets petition to take the vote away from women as well, irish is as dead as a dodo, move into the 21st century and stop wasting money and effort on pathetic causes." I really hope that this petition will achieve its goal unlike so many other internet petitions. And I am a teenager trying to learn Irish as well. Irish would be my third language(Which is unforuntate since Irish used to be the first language of my family on both my mother and my father's sides not long ago). |

An internet petition... seems a little unoffocial in my opinion i mo thuairim. What we should is get our MEPs to speak Irish in parliament so nobody will understand them and they will have to make it an official language. Beidh an toghachán ar súil i Meitheamh. |
