Can anyone give me the Irish Gaeilge spelling for the name Durbin. It is a family name, the Last name or Sir name of my family.
i.e. Steve Durbin.
Thanks Steve

Steve a chara,

It would appear to me that the etymology of Durbin is in a language other than Irish.

Mac Duarcáin > Durkin, a branch of the Ó Haras, doesn't come into the picture.

The only thing looking like it in the Gaelic world, and a long shot at it, would be Mc Dormann (< from Scottish Gaelic), the original of, I don't know.

Good luck with the search.

Ádh mór.
