Táim ag scríobh scéal beag, tá cabhair ag teastáil uaim! Níl mé in ann teacht ar English-Irish Translator, ach tá sibhse an céad rud is fearr eile!

Help with a translation for a story please.

An féidir libh astrú:

A grove (of trees)

agus

Be banished.

Tá fios agam go bhfuil díbert banish, ach conas a gcuirfidh tú in abáirt é?

Míle síle!

Jessica:)

to be banished - a bheith díbeartha
Be banished (command) - go ndíbirtear tú

Ma chuireann tú díbirt isteach sa bhFoclóir beag ag http://www.csis.ul.ie/focloir/ gheobaidh tú na foirmeacha ar fad.

Níl focal níos fearr agam ar "grove" ná "coill" - tá focail níos fearr ann : doire, mar shampla atá ar coill beag.

It is actually an oak grove that I am wondering about, coincidently!

Would, 'Díbirt uainn' ceart go leor?

'Díbirt uainn'

I'd be more confident about what you want to say if you gave my the whole sentence/context.

If you intend to say "be banished from us" I'd say it differently...

Well that is what I want to say, or be banished from here.

The story is kinda magical...:)

The teacher is encouraging us to be indiviual in the way we tell it, so Im trying to make it really interesting!

I don't think I'd use the word banished at all
But if one character is banishing amother you could say:

Díbirim thú uainn go deo I banish you from us forever (sibh instead of thú for a group)

or

Go ndíbirtear thú uainn go deo - May you be banished from us forever

But I'd more likely say

"Imeacht gan teacht ort" - a curse: may you go and never return (oraibh for plural)

Cuirim de gheis ort gan filleadh riamh - I put you under a (magical) obligation never to return

Go raibh míle Aonghus, cabhair iontach ar fad.

Tá fada i scéal. Tá an téideal ag cur isteach orm ó cuir mé an rud seo thuas! Ceann fáth nach bhfuil "edit" ann...
