Hello! My name is Amanda. I am writing from New Hampshire.

This year we are putting on an "Irish Christmas Recital" using Irish Folk Music etc. While preparing this afternoon my sister and I talked over the possibility of teaching one of our 6 year old little students a few lines of gaelic to say at some point during a song in the program. Unfortunately I do not know where to turn. We have the words (given at the bottom of an "Enya" song) that we would like the little girl to speak, but do not know the English Translation or how to pronounce the gaelic.

Is this something you could help with? I would gladly send a tape if someone would record these lines in gaelic for us and give us a translation.

Again, I cannot find much on the Internet that would be of help and the recital is Dec. 20th!

Thank you again,
Amanda
If you can help, I can send our family email

Amanda, a chara,

If you'd like to post the particular piece of text from Enya's song which you'd like translated into this thread, I'm confident that somebody here will provide a translation. I don't do pronunciations, but there are other regulars here who will be able to assist with that aspect of your project given time.

Le meas,

Larry.
