A chairde,

What does the word lena mean? It appears numerous times in a book that I recently purchased, Mac Tire. For example, "lena athair." I can only guess that it is a combination of le and na, but that guess doesn't work for athair.

Go raith maith agat,

Don't confuse it with "leis na.." as I often do. :-)

A Oliver a chara,

Go raibh maith agat,

Another one I'm having trouble locating is ón. Is that also a contraction for ó + a?

Ón = ó + an (definite article)

Le meas,
