I was reading a previous post and it said that if you dont attend a gaelscoil you are less likely to get an A in the junior cert. Im just wondering if this is true as I myself will be doing honours irish and i have just gone to the gaeltacht and lets face it an A would be lovely( providing i put in the studying!!!) of course u can get the A, provided u put in the work. I myself got an A in the junior and leaving cert and i never went to a gaelscoil. Several people in my school recieved As in the junior cert, put in the work and youl get the grade you deserve Adh mór! shay |

"I was reading a previous post and it said that if you dont attend a gaelscoil you are less likely to get an A in the junior cert. If you spend eight of your formitive years completely immersed in Irish, isn't it obvious that you're likely to be a lot better at Irish than someone who just did it a few hours a week as a single subject, and hence be much more likely to get an A in the Junior Cert. |

well actually i read the post and it said people who dont go to an all irish speaking school would probably not get an a at all so i dont know what ur on abt. and i realise people who are "immersed" in irish will probably end up with a better result than what i would get. but what i was hoping is that some1 could tell me if it is common for people to get an A(who dont go to an all irish school). maybe it wasnt plain 4 me to see it was common sense |
