How would you say Southern Irish in Gaeilage? I would like to put a subtitle on my site. Thanks! RT ------------ Southern and Irish? http://SouthernIrish.com |

Sorry did you mean the Irish language as spoken in the Southern Irish Gaeltacht areas. Is it the language you refer to? Or the people? What I gave in the previous post referred to the language as spoken in Munster-the most Southern province in Ireland. |

Hi rt, Looking at your site I think you need this: Na hÉireannaigh ó dheas The Irish people down south At least that's how I understand it. Great site BTW Slán agus beannacht! |

Ah, I see... I was wondering if the meaning would be lost in the translation. I appreciate the help. And thanks for the comments on the site! I surf the net a lot so I wanted a place where I could collect things that I find that relate to Southern and/or Irish... I'm definitely putting this site on there. Thanks, RT ------------ Southern and Irish? http://SouthernIrish.com |

Possibly even Éireannaigh Deiscirt Mheiriceá The Irish of the American South I'd assumed Southern Irish meant the south of Ireland! |
