For my Uncle's 70th I need a translation of this quote. Thank You.

"May the sound of happiness
And the lilt of Irish laugter
Fill your heart with gladness
That stays forever after"

Dia dhuit, a Lori,
OK. I took a little poetic license and I'm not sure of my grammar or idiomatic form. But in keeping with rhythm and rhyme, here goes.

Go raibh an fhuaim shonas
'gus an gháire d'Éireannaigh
a líonadh do chroí le áthas
a maire i gcónaí.

You might want to wait on someone more fluent to make certain.
Slán,
Maidhc.
