Yes, that's a direct translation of "I'm in love with you", if that's what you want. There are several ways of expressing "I love you" as gaeilge, e.g. "Tá mo chroí istigh ionat" is a nice one.

I know that chroí means heart but what does that whole phrase mean?

Literally it means "my heart is in you", but the sentiment is Ï love you.
