I'm trying to find out my friend's nickname in Gaeilge. (He is part Irish).

Here is my pitiful attempt: A ghruagach ceann.

Can anyone help me pronounce that? The dialect doesn't matter.

Hi,
Hi Dion,

Here is how I would say it:

"A dhuine gruagach"
O Hairy Person

Pronounced (by me anyway) AH GWINNA GROO-ug-ah

Slán,

Oliver.

It would be sort of Connemara, I think. Really, it's just the standardised Irish (Caighdeán) that I learnt at school.
