Sílim go bhfuilimid go léir beagan binbeach leis an nuacht i gcónaí ar chogadh. Táim fein i ndrochchaoi leis ar aon nós. Ar iarraidh dearmad a dhéanamh ar feadh tamaill beag, seo bailiucháin cor cainte a rinne fear darbh ainm Gearóid O'Laoi. Seo Gaeilge nadúrtha dúchasach agus bíonn sí greannmhar go minic.

I think we're all a bit tetchy with the news always of war. I'm in bad twist about it anyway. In an attempt to forget it all for a while, here's a collection of turns of phrase by Gearóid O'Laoi. This is natural native Irish and is often quite amusing.

For example:
He has lost the use of his arm: Tá a sciathán síos leis
(his wing is down with him....!)

Anyway, have a look.
