Hi, my name is Michelle and I have a third grage school assignment to find out how to say the numbers 1 through 10 in the Irish language Gaelic. Can anybody help me?

1 - aon
2 - dó
3 - trí
4 - ceathair
5 - cúig
6 - sé
7 - seacht
8 - ocht
9 - naoi
10 - deich

They're pronounced ain, doh (like Homer Simpson would pronounce it!), three, kaher, cooig, shay, shockth, uckth, nee, jeh (or jye).

Apologies to pronunciation purists, but this is the closest I can render the sounds to an English speaker.
