could someone please tell me the exact translation for "Niamh Ni Oichefeic"? I was given that as a nickname, I know the general translation, but not the exact one. Thanks.

I presume it's the 'surname' you refer to?

'Ní' is generally used to preface the second name of Irish women(single). It means literally 'daughter of' and corresponds to the male version MAC/MC

Does anyone know of some male Irish name whose meaning implyes "dream", "vision", "eye"... or something related with prophecy or seeing?
