Is it correct to translate "saol fada" as "long life"? But what is the irish translation for the word "life"? It isn't "fada" is it?

Also can anyone help translate the meaning of this phrase to irish: "from the earth," "originating from the earth."

Thanks
Craig

saol is life
fada is long

"from the earth" is trickier, what do you mean by earth?
The planet/world? - ón domhan
The clay? - ón cré
The ground? - ón dtalamh
