Do you mean a (1) Mission _to_ Ireland, or a (2) mission the members of which are Irish? (1) Misean go hÉireann - although I would prefer Toscaireacht go hÉireann (2) Misean Éireannach |

I'm not sure I know what that means! I was thinking of mission in the sense of spreading belief. Perhaps you mean mission in the military sense? Something which has to be done? In which case a more appropriate word would be cuspóir, or sprioc, or aidhm Cuspóir (or Aidhm) na hÉireann - Ireland's objective Sprioc na hÉireann - Irelands goal |

But then either one of (1) or (2) ought to be what you mean! What do you mean by mission _of_ Ireland? Are you saying Ireland must spread her beliefs? Then you mean the same as (2) |
