Dia duit, a chairde, Ross is ainm dom. Tá mé ag foghlaim an Ghaelige. However, I must admit that I am having difficulty, and I am looking for a group to get involved in that will give me some help, and will help me to practise my conversational abilities in this most beautiful language. I am 17 years old and live in Northwestern Ohio, and it seems as though all the Irish speakers are about 90 miles away in Columbus. I am looking for anyone who is interested in communicating with me, helping me figure out the language, and perhaps helping me to get involved with a group of speakers in the Northwestern Ohio area if that is possible. Cúnamh!!! Slán, Séarles Hughes |

Dia duit, a chairde, Erin is ainm dom. I am also struggling to learn Irish, and feel your pain; half of my peers don't even know what "Gaelic" means, much less feel inclined to learn how to communicate using the language. I have barely gotten off the ground, despite books and tapes and such. If you have any luck, will you let me know? I really want to learn. By the way, I'm also seventeen, from Central New York. Good luck! Slán, Erin O'Mahoney |
