Greetings...

thank you all for the help so far. Again I want to ask for your help with some words I picked up from a book on Irish Mythology in our effords to find a name for our kinband. Please excuse the incorrect use of Fadas as I am just beginning to become fascinated with this language. We appreciate your help greatly and would like to include this list and the helpful people in this thread on our thank you appreciation list once we found our name and bring our website up. Thank you.

Dán - what does this word mean? Another form for Fate or Destiny?

Bhrean = Guardian? Thus could 'Bhrean Uathach' mean Wraithguard or something like that? If not, what could fit for Wraithguard?

What would be a translation for 'Shadowguard'? Could it be something like 'Scáith Bhreannan'?

I am also in need for translations of the following words:

Shadow Hunter(s)

Warlock(s)

Guardian Defender(s) of Erin
(would 'Óglaigh na Héireann' fit?)

What would Shield Guard mean? Could it be something like 'Sciath Bhrean' ?

Would 'Craobh Mór' mean Great Branch?
Any other examples for Branch titles eg. Black Branch or Wild Branch or so would be greatly appreciated.
