Hi,

My Gaelic dictionary is only Gaelic - English, does anyone know the Gaelic words (in Irish or Scottish Gaelic) for Sheep and Sweater?

Thanks! :)

Meghan

'Sheep' in Irish is 'caora', if it's the singular you want. 'Caoirigh' is the plural.

Bíonn caora dhubh ar an tréad is gile. There's a black sheep in the whitest flock.

'Geansaí' us the usual word for a sweater, specifically a jersey (gansey).
