Hi my name is kerry and I am hoping someone out there can help me..I lost my beautiful Irish Dad on the 12th of September and want to put a memorial notice in the paper and I would like to write "until we met again ,forever in our hearts ,we love you" and I would like this to be written in Gaeilge ...I would so very much appreciate your help ...thank you Kerry ..

Tá grá againn ort inár gcroí go brách, go gcastar ar a chéile arís sinn. I reversed the order of your phrasing. Does anyone have any other ideas or spot any slip-ups on my part?

'nois, Laighneach. Má tá tú chun tabhairt amach mar sin, ar a laghad tabhair do leagan (leasaithe) fhéin.

My version - taking some liberties with the English to give a better Irish version, would be:-

Mairfidh Grá dhuit inár gcroíthe,
go gcastar ar a chéile arís muid.

Love for you will live in our hearts, until we meet again.

Errors, Omissions and lapses of grammar, as ever, excepted.

The spelling is correct. And the punctuation, if you read it right. An gcuirfidís 'croí' insan iolra? An t-uatha a tháinig chugamsa. 'S é aimsir an bhriathair a bhí ag cur as domh -- sheachain leagan Aonghusa an fhadb sin. Aongus's version is fine, except that 'grá' ('love') doesn't need to be in caps. Either 'muid' or 'sinn' will do.
