Dia daoibh, a chara...

I am hoping to be able to attend Daltaí's weekend in New York next month. I have a slight problem. Most likely, I will need to travel to Esopus, NY from NJ by train. This is no real problem except I see this time they can't provide transportation between the train station in Poughkeepsie, NY and Esopus this time. Not a real big deal except it's a 10-mile trip.

Has anyone been to a previous weekends and familiar with how to get from the train station to Esopus? I was unable to make it the previous beginner's weekends this year. Now that I finally can go, it isn't looking good.

Can advice for those of us planning to get there from the NJ/NY City area?

Go raith maith agat! ...bob

We'll hope you get a ride but some of us take the train, so you may not be alone. Often someone can give us a ride; otherwise, we split a taxi which costs $20+ total. Stay tuned.

How many can cram in a taxi? :-)

There's an outside chance I'll be able drive up, but it isn't looking real good right now. I hate to get almost there. Let "us" know if learn anything.

Slán! ...bob
