A chairde, 6/28/2001

For my book, just written, I need to get the correct gaelic
translation for:

"For the glory and honor of God"

In: 1.Southern dialect - old Gaelic
- new Gaelic (if there is such)

2.Any dialect

I have been given the following:

a. "Do chúm glóire agus onóra Dé" (fada over 'u')

b. "Do chum glóire agus onóra Dé" (no fada over 'u' in chum)

c. "Ar son glóir agus onóir Dé" (given by DCU student)

d. "Ar son glóir agus onair Dé" (onair from a dict.)

Your help would be greatly appreciated. Please reply here or by E-mail to:

Also, how would this be in Gaelic? -

3. "For the greater glory and honor of God"
