Could anyone translate the words 'high cross' ( as in Clonmacnoise ) and also 'round tower' in the same context.(Leaving Cert Student - Oral starts monday!!!!) Lookin' for any idiomatic phrases which would enrich the oral conversation. Connaught irish would be preferable. Thanks a million in advance!!!!!!!!
Niall

"Ardchros" (iontas na n-iontas!) agus "cloigtheach" na téarmaí atá uait. Ach nach bhfuil sé buille mall anois a ghabháil ar lorg idiomatic phrases? OK, abair leo go bhfuil tú "ag coinneáil ag imeacht" nuair a chloiseann tú "cén chaoi...?". Agus ádh mór ort!
