Please Help: Is there anyone who can provide me with the phonetical English translation of the Irish National Anthem? I had it at one time but, have misplaced it and been searching for months. All I can remember is - Sheena feena faw a tau fway alegeireann bween dar shlew..... As you can see, this is not too good - please, someone help!!! Thanks so much for any help you can provide me. Liam - I was so excited to get your message with the phonetic pronunciation for The Soldier's Song that I completely forgot to thank you. I can't tell you how thrilled I am to get this, finally. I've been trying for so long and couldn't believe my good luck! I belong to the LAOH here in CT and am the division historian. I've wanted to get this to pass it along to our members. Again, A Hundred Thousand Thank Yous. Have a Very Happy Easter! Ginger |

Liam - any possibility that you may be able to supply me with the first verse... We'll sing a song, a soldier's song With cheering rousing chorus As 'round the blazing fires we swarm The starry heavens o'er us Impatient for the coming fight And as we wait the morning light Here in the silence of the night We'll chant a soldier's song... also? I'd really apreciate it - thanks very much. Ginger |
