Could someone please help me with the pronunciation of "GRÁ DILSEAGHT CAIRDEAS"?

Thanks,

Brodie

gra - rhymes with 'car' when pronounced by a British person
dilseacht - DILL - shackt (this 'ck' is actually pronounced like German ch in 'Bach')
cairdeas - CAR - dess (actually the 'd' is a bit softer, you should stick your tongue to the palate)

This should help you a bit, though the best thing would be for you to hear a native speaker pronounce it.

Wouldn't it be a lot simpler, Dave, to say that it's pronounced "Graw", instead of saying that it rhymes with the word "car" when pronouced by a British person?!Sounds like the sort of explanation the Marx Brothers would give!

To Laighneach:
Sorry, but English is not my mother tongue and I have to thing a lot before I say something, and sometimes it leads to some complicated things.
