Hi:
Found your site through a search engine, & thought I'd risk wasting your
time with a question. I'm trying to find the meaning, historical conText
and possibly a little etymology on the term "begorrah". I was hoping
perhaps you would be able to find the time to answer.

Just the definition would do, if not a suggestion on how/where to
research the other details.

Websters 10th says that 'Begorra' is a euphemism for 'By God', which would mean that it comes from English, albeit Irish English.
