Barbara:

sa-whin. The a in sa should rhyme with the a in "a-ha!" there is a slight "wh" as in "who" and then win. The phonetic I gave was an effort to try and run this all together.

Incidentally, Samhain means the month of November as well as well as the beginning of the new year in the old tradition.
