Ciarraí
(KEER-EE)

It's actually "Tír na n-Óg",which means "Land of the Young".It's the name for the celtic version of heaven, the same way the vikings had a heaven called 'Valhalla' or Budhists and their 'Nirvana'

I don't know about a Gaelic "equivalent" but the Gaelic *original* of Kerry is Ciarraí. In Kerry itself it would be pronounced kee-uh-REE.

The Land of Youth is either Tír na nÓg or Tír na hÓige. The former is the more common and is pronounced in Munster/Kerry Irish approximately as TEER nuh NOAG, as you probably are already aware.
